The ArenaThe walls seemed to move all around me as I ran; skull torches blurring in my vision. The stone figure of a demonic gargoyle perched on the over hang in front of me. It felt as if its eyes were following me around the labyrinth, watching, waiting With a sudden blast of heat the earth erupted behind me, knocking me off my feet and sending me flying through the frigid air. I landed hard on the damp, stone floor. As I pulled myself up, I grabbed my chest gasping for air, and coughed up a warm, red liquid onto the already stained floor.
